Skopos24 has a large network of associates which includes sworn translators, technical translators and linguists specialised in interpreting.
We are constantly striving to expand, looking for qualified self-employed translators, interpreters, proofreaders (native speakers) and transcribers to add to our team.
To register as a translator, you will need a recognised qualification in advanced translation studies or an equivalent qualification (e.g. Diploma in Translation), and at least two or three years' documented relevant experience, respectively.
To register as an interpreter, you will ideally have a Diploma in Public Service Interpreting or a Diploma in Police Interpreting and relevant professional experience. However, we would also like to hear from students who are fluent in languages and wish to gain valuable work experience.
We are also looking to hear from proofreaders (native speakers) and transcribers with an excellent knowledge of English spelling, grammar and punctuation, an eye for detail, a methodical approach and a strong focus.
